my confusion is because I thought when users were assigned to a project, they were assigned to the subentities also?

So if I want notifications to work for sub entities I just need to add users field to the parent of the sub entities

I'm just going over the notifications settings to make sure users are kept in the loop. Is there anything I need to do other then mark a field as notify when changed for the notifications to work?
