What is the behavior that is inconsistent? What leads you to believe the drop down list isn't working properly? I have a setup where I use an AJAX entity dropdown for users and it seems to be working properly.

I know what you mean. I have all of my export templates and some other items backed up on my computer as text files for that very reason. Good luck with it.

I tried altering a template of mine to include the current_date field in the footer. It works fine for me. Must be a hosting issue?

Even though my last name is German, I have no idea what those missing items should be. Can you translate them to Engilsh?
