I got it: the filename is email_fetch.php and the cron folder has a protection by htaccess, so the cron could not run.
When I delete the .htaccess, it works, the incoming emails are there!

Must the file "notification.php" be set up for the cron job? Or another file?
Is the file permission of this file (as set by default) okay with 644?
