i am presently using PHP 5.6. So for the version 1.7 to work i will need PHP 7.0 to be installed. do you have any steps on the same on how this can be done. what precautions should i take to be sure everything will work normally after the upgrade.

hi Sergie,

Replaced two files from an old backup class.phpmailer.php and class.smtp.php and it worked normally. there was no issue with the SMTP connection parameters.

i too got the same error for which i changed the setting to TRUE for
define('ENABLE_SSL', false)

but after i did; it stopped working. so i had to revert it back. this issue came up only after the upgrade. can you please advise.
