Thank you for your answer! Would it be possible to use them as data source in dropdowns? Just like one could use database views (from queries) and treat them just like tables?

I am unable to deal with the input field "Parent" when adding new value to field choices. In my case, now values show up on the dropdown. How is this to be handled? I do not know how to go about that choice.

I guess, there is no option at the moment to individualize the menu icons of reports. Which database table holds the links to the fa-... icons? Could they be changed directly in the database?

Please look at the attached screen shot. The application is not really complete, there are a number of reports missing. Nevertheless, the menu is very long already. This is why it would be desireable to have a tree-like menu.
