Okay, got the point that VIEW ONLY fields still do not display in forms but will be considered in FIELDS DISPLAY RULES.
The fix did NOT solve the problem: Based on FIELDS DISPLAY RULES, fields still do not show up in form/taps, I guess the system cannot find the file (please see above screen shot).

Using Version 2.2.1 Basic+Ext. I have performed now a number of tests regarding Fields Display Rules.
VIEW ONLY fields still do not allow for ruling whether other fields are displayed or not on forms.
The fix from above (2.2) nor version 2.2.1 seem to have solved the issue.
Please let know about your point of view.
