UPGRADE INSTRUCTION FROM 3.1 TO 3.2 (During upgrade all data saved)

NOTE: I recommend to test beta version on test server.

NOTE: if you are using Extension then you can create copy of your application on the same domain in new folder.
Product key related to domain name only.

1) Do database backup (IMPORTANT)
2) Rewrite all files from rukovoditel_3.2_beta1.zip
3) If you are using Extension then rewrite all files from rukovoditel_ext_3.2_beta1.zip in /plugins folder
4) To update database open in browser next url: /install/autoupdate/from_3.1_to_3.2.php
5) If you are using Extension then open next url: /install/ext_autoupdate/from_3.1_to_3.2.php
6) Remove /install folder

I was hoping report designer will be included in 3.2 version. Honestly I am waiting for this upgrade for months now.
Can I have some info on that please?

But note: you must have experience in programming, since you are making direct queries to the database.

Hi Sergey. For some reason, I thought the report designer module was going to be an interface to the open-source iReport software?

I was thinking about interface like in iReport and other app. But the interface not allows me create complex sql query (with several nested queries) or complex php code for calculation.
So that is why I decide to use pure sql/php query to build report.

That makes sense. The way you have set it up certainly gives the experienced user more power and flexibility, but not something the average "super user" or manager could use ... unless they have a few examples to clone and adapt new reports from.

Hi,
that too was my first thought that the new Report designer will be integration of iReport.
But to be honest, making this feature out of scratch is much better idea in the long run. The only drawback is that it will take time to learn how to use it, as it seems to be very complex upgrade

Just one question: is there an option to configure export (like page orientation, page size etc)? Because my intention was to use this feature as a more advanced type of export template.

What are you exporting to, Edin?
Most data exports are un-paginated, but having the ability to "massage" the data using SQL will be very useful.
